New Website and Patreon Page Launched

by Wes Penre, November 15, 2020

I just launched my new website about my novel project at https://wespenrebooks.com.

I also launched a Patreon page that is exclusively about support for my book projects–the one I’m working on now, but also for potential future projects. https://www.patreon.com/wespenrebooks

I need that extra Patreon site to cover costs with publishing and other fees involved. It also hopefully creates more financial security. If you can, and feel like it, please check out the benefits on the new Patreon site and maybe consider signing up.

Thank you for all your support and encouragement in general! It’s so much appreciated!

  1. Congratulations Wes on writing your new book. I always was a fan of science fiction. The very first movie I ever saw was star wars a new hope. I saw it for the first time on VHS in 1984. When I was a kid I used to create all kinds of science fiction with toys or write stories in notebooks.

I always enjoyed the creativity of science fiction books and movies.

  2. Hey Wes, you might consider using thriftbooks for distribution as well. They’re a good alternative to Amazon and they promote books from Goodwill and Mom and Pop stores as well.

  3. Patreon is part of the media outlets censoring and removing people due to their content and beliefs. You should reconsider using them. I will donate another way. We have to take stands at this point in time based on our principles and I have never been on any social media and simply never will or be part of this insidious system of censorship and mind control. I understand the need for a system like that for people and the almost necessity to use them, but I also have a small business and do not use these things and get around these inhuman systems. I don’t even take credit cards. My clients pay me in old fashioned printed checks.

    1. It’s not a matter of either/or IMO. As long as we can use it with consciousness, we can still take stands. Not based on our principles but on the inner knowing. It’s so obvious that the Power That Be don’t like that people are creative and non-conform (I hope this word exist in English 🙃) I like that we represent a race where it is very difficult to predict an outcome. But I agree that we need to be very attentive on what’s going on

      1. Your way of looking at it corresponds with mine, Zenna Vianne. FaceBook is obviously not meant to be for the benefit of mankind, but that doesn’t mean we can’t use it for our own purposes, if it enhances our own goals and intentions. The same thing goes for Patreon or basically almost any other social media outlet. Ariel and I benefit from Patreon because it makes it possible for us to do what we want to do fulltime, which we no-way could do otherwise. In fact, without our Patreon support, we would not be able to do this at all. So, basically it’s a matter of HOW we are using all these tools, IMO.
