The year 2024 will be a busy year but in a good way! I have already started the project of making the Wes Penre Papers (WPP) into paperback (and Kindle) to publish them on Amazon.com as five separate books–one for each level of learning.
The WPP will remain free at wespenre.com, as they have always been, and always will be.
The purpose of making them into physical books is for preservation, in case the Internet goes down in the future. The best thing to safe-keep information is to have it in hard copy. Therefore, I would greatly appreciate it if at least some of you get the books for safekeeping, so potential future generations can read them, too, and can exit through the Grid.
The book version will be edited for grammar and spelling errors, and I will also update some sections where new information will replace the old. When this happens, I will show where those major updates are in the book, so the reader can compare the online version with the book when needed.
This is a mega-project, and I will most likely spend the best part of 2024 accomplishing this. I will post the books as they are being finished, i.e., when the book containing The First Level of Learning is finished, I will publish it on Amazon.com and continue editing Level Two, and so on.
A few of these books are about 700 pages long, so Amazon’s printing costs will be greater than my previous 300-400-page books. Also, they need to make their profit. Personally, I will only take out a minimum royalty of these books to keep the price down–hopefully to the same level as my previous books. I can’t give them away for free, or I have to pay for each book you order. I will take out a small royalty because this job probably takes a year to accomplish, and I want to get at least some compensation.
Also, if I get new ideas on new books, I will put the WPP project on hold until such a book has been finished and published. Then I’ll continue with this editing project.
