Because we are born with amnesia, we have no past and no future; when we’re born, we are just a soul, ready for a new experience, which will often be quite different from a previous one. Although we, in the BLA, have some say in what we want to experience in the next lifetime, there are no guarantees that things turn out the way we hoped it would.
