Ismaril’s Sword Update

By Wes Penre, May 28, 2023

Regarding book updates, I am writing on two book side by side (The ORION Book 2 and Ismaril’s Sword, the third book of the trilogy novels).

Ismaril’s Sword, the trilogy loosely based on the Wes Penre Papers, is coming out very well, but it’s a slower process than The ORION Book because I also must take the plot into consideration and make everything come together in the end, so I leave no loose ends.

I think the climax of the book will be pretty good, and hopefully unpredictable for most readers.

You will find the trilogy by searching on Amazon.com for Wes Penre.

Book1: “The Book of Secrets”

Book 2: “The Underworld”

Book 3: “Ismaril’s Sword” (not published yet as of this date).

  1. what is isramil’s sword about. and if we read all your papers do we need to read orion book?

    1. Ismaril’s Sword is the third book in a fantasy trilogy I’m writing. I’m currently almost done with this third book. Book 1 and 2 are already published. The first two are “The Book of Secrets” and “The Underworld.” These books are based on the Wes Penre Papers, where all main characters are included, but in a fantasy setting and under fictious names.

Regarding the Orion Book: Yes, I would greatly suggest you read it, whether or not you have read the papers (and Volume 2 is pending. I’m writing on two books simultaneously). The book is an update of the papers, including new and more current research and insights–an extension of the papers, you could say, and never before released or published. If you liked the papers, you will love the book, and I’m not saying this because I want to sell. I mean it.

All the books I’ve written are here: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=wes+penre&i=stripbooks-intl-ship&crid=2WPL4VUBH1L6C&sprefix=Wes%2Cstripbooks-intl-ship%2C211&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_4_3

      Thanks for your interest!

  2. I left a review for you a while back. Fun stuff wes.
When your wrote your gnostic papers you floated the idea of a two man Jesus theory. Do you still subscribe to this? I’ve never heard your opinions on the new testament? Written in the heat of the Jewish rebellions against Rome. Some theories include the NT Jesus was a literary fiction meant to passifiy the Jews placing the Flavian family in divine lineage with the Jewish god by syncing the events of jesus life with Titus Flavian.
Aka black roman humor making fun of Jewish leaders like Jon and Simon. What do you think about the NT and it’s authors?? Thanks for the books. I enjoyed them.

    1. They claim to have taken the torah for the temple. A Flavian scribe might have made a new work. Opinions?

  3. Fine I’ll buy your book to see if you’ve got anything new. After I finish the wars of the Jews and one guilty pleasure read I’m not sharing.
I liked your old idea of more than one Jesus. Jesus barabass… son of god??…come to find out their were many leaders of Jewish rebellions and Jesus is a roman name for savior. It’s many characters disguised as one. Jesus lazzerus….elsayzar?? Captured on the mount of Olivers. Not sure of the word but it sounds liketolkiens ellassar…name elf name for aragorn….too weird…..
