I’ve tried out ko-fi, and it’s working great..
So, those for whom there is no inconvenience to change platforms can sign up on Ko-Fi at any time from now on.
Go to https://ko-fi.com/wespenre 1 and join the tier you want to subscribe to. They will ask for your PayPal account, etc., and they will take out the donation from there right away, and then once a month–just like on Patreon. But no taxes for you (contrary to Patreon), and no transfer fees for me, which is a great saving for me, and a saving for you, compared to Patreon.
That’s it! If you have any questions, please reply and ask/comment in the comment section here. It is helpful to know what the questions are, so I and everybody else can learn. I don’t think there will be any glitches–it seems straight forward–but in case there are, we’ll solve it.
Even if not all people will move over to Ko-Fi, each person who does it means less taxes for me to pay next year in the United States, in addition to Serbian taxes.
As I said earlier, if this is inconvenient for some of you, and you still want to donate, please don’t feel bad if you want to stay on Patreon. That’s perfectly fine with me.
