Video 263: Needs, Trauma, Behavior, and Reprogramming

In videos and articles of the past, I have to a great deal covered the subject of narcissism and codependency and different ways of coping with it and healing from it. I have talked about so-called shadow work, regression therapy, and other ways to be in control of our subconscious behaviors. Although some of these techniques work to a certain degree, they do not, in my opinion, get us to the point we might want to be as adult humans. There is another way that has helped me a lot on my journey the last year or so, and for me, it is really working. It’s also relatively easy once we break through the first barrier or two.   1. Hi, Wes! First, I’d like to thank you for your brilliant work. 🙂 Thank you very much!
    My question is: why do we have to do shadow work if we are free from all earthly concerns after we die?
    I mean, for an anxious person, for instance, there won’t be any reasons to worry about his/her daily duties. So, why worry about certain matters when they leave?
    And for someone who is abused, the problem will end at his/her death.
    Frankly, I do not see any point in trying to evolve while living on this construct because from my point of view, we are here for the sole purpose of experiencing life in 3D. Right?

    1. @Luisa You would be correct if it were true that when we leave, we also leave our earthly concerns behind. We don’t. It’s true that we get an expanded view on reality because we are entering other dimensions, but Luisa will still be Luisa when you leave. You will still have any potential attachments, fears, unhandled trauma, or whatever it could be that is a part of Luisa at this exact moment. So, if you have something you feel you would need to work on, do it now while here on Earth. Then, it will be so much easier afterwards.

  2. Wes do you know how to handle panic attacks and extreme anxiety episodes.

    I just want a normal life.

    1. Yes, I can think of 3 things that can help you get out of that state, and it’s in this order: 1) Repeat to yourself that this is only a panic attack. It’s nothing dangerous and will pass, and 2) apply a great breathing exercise that will ground you and get you “quantumized.” Here is the best one I’ve ever seen: https://wespenrevideos.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/the-quantum-pause-exercise.pdf .
